Welcome to the Mixed Tasting with distiller René Büchner from the Feindestillerie Büchner in Teutschenthal.
You will learn the secrets of the various raw materials, production and storage and why the location is so important for the fine products.
In a relaxed atmosphere, you will gain an insight into the technical processes and the art of firing and a small musical interlude will ensure a cozy atmosphere.
And of course we will enjoy the fine wines together. 6 different, fine distillates will be available for you in the Iron Mountain banquet room.
Two liqueurs, a fruit brandy, a rum, a whisky and a fine gin.
Büchner is also the source of the now sold-out “Jens Weißflog Birthday Edition Whisky” to mark the 60th anniversary of his birth and is also where the whisky casks for our special editions “Lillehammer” and “Sarajevo” are stored, which we will open to mark the round Olympic anniversaries in 2034. A distillery in which we place our trust for these personal uniquenesses.
Good food goes with a good drop. That’s why we will be serving you fine ham, salami and cheese variations on this evening.

On Reformation Day, Saturday 31.10.2026, we will once again be celebrating ARONIAFEST. There will be interesting facts and culinary delights about the aronia berry and, above all, a colorful hustle and bustle in the hotel and on the grounds.
Children have fun in the large playground, on horseback or with face painting.
