2014 was a very special year for winter sports enthusiasts. The Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, were the highlight of the competition season. For all the athletes, it was all about honor and medals, and we spectators were feverish for two weeks.
For me, it hasn’t been about victories, medals or trophies for a long time – but I also had Olympic anniversaries to celebrate in 2014.
The Olympic Games in Sochi marked the 30th anniversary of my Olympic victory on the normal hill in Sarajevo in 1984 and the 20th anniversary of my Olympic victories on the large hill and with the team in Lillehammer. These anniversaries and my 50th birthday were reason enough: an illustrated book was published in February 2014, packed with pictures from my early days of ski jumping to my great successes. But also pictures from my private photo album. Since August 2014, you can still purchase my biography “Stories of my life”. Have fun browsing, reading and reminiscing….!
By completing the order form, you can place a binding order for “Pictures of my life” or “Stories of my life”. You will receive the invoice when the book is sent and please transfer the above-mentioned amount to the bank account stated on the invoice.
It can take up to a week to send a biography as a book shipment. For several books, depending on the actual costs, by Hermes or Deutsche Post. If you need the biography “urgently”, please let me know, then I cannot send it as a book shipment.
